9:00 a.m. on a Thursday. The @nedbank_zimbabwe Innovation Hub sits empty! Not a single student in sight. Four instructors gather in a quiet space, but their silence isn't filled with concern. It's filled with pride. After twelve months of intense training, coding sessions, and countless moments of discovery, every single student has elevated to something bigger. Some are starting internships. Others landed their first tech jobs. A few are already building their digital ventures. The empty chairs tell the story of transformation, young adults who walked in with dreams and uncertainty, now stepping into careers they once thought impossible. One instructor smiles, remembering Nozithelo's first day when she couldn't even turn on a computer because she knew nothing about technology. Yesterday, she started as a digital marketer at a local co-working workspace. Another thinks of Mgcini, who went from selling sweets and biscuits on street corners to building websites for established brands in the US. The silence isn't an ending, it's proof of what happens when opportunity meets determination. These walls have witnessed tears of frustration turn into shouts of celebration, failed code become working applications, and hesitant students become confident professionals. Tomorrow, a new cohort will fill these seats. But today, the emptiness tells the most beautiful story: mission accomplished. The future of Zimbabwe's tech industry just walked out these doors, ready to change the world.
